Left Wollongong in the rain on Tuesday 5th June 2018. Matthew drove us to White Bay with seven bags of luggage - nearly three bags full of High Seas Ministry materials.
After unpacking our personal belongings the ship departed White Bay going under the Harbour Bridge, past Circular Quay during the VIVID light spectacular - in drenching rain - not so spectacular!
In Brisbane - sunny Queensland - also pouring with rain. We ventured off the ship in ponchos to add to our extra supplies at a nearby IGA store. We had planned to go on a river cruise but abandoned that idea because of the rain. We could see the city from the ship and watched a fast river cat dodging our ship as it turned around to leave the port.
